If my family could live at Whole Foods we would. I really love that they have a juice bar and so does Caden. We are both head over heels in love with one particular green smoothie.
Here is Caden on a recent trip to our local Whole Foods store…
I loved this picture so much I even tweeted about it and look what happened…
Is it weird that I feel like a celebrity tweeted me back? Because that is totally what I feel like happened. Thanks Whole Foods for making my day on a warm summer morning.
Caden’s favorite green smoothie can easily be made at home for a tasty and nutritionally packed treat to hydrate and fuel your body.
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 big handful of baby spinach
- 1 big handful of baby kale or 2-3 dino kale leaves that are deveined
- 5-8 fresh basil leaves
- Put all ingredients into blender. Blend. Drink.
This recipe will make 2 servings.
