Caden runs away from me and this is the best picture that we could get for the week. It totally makes me smile because this is my life right now so I am rolling with it. Now onto the 8 week bump date…
Weight Gain: 0 pounds. Still weighing in at 130.
Eats and Treats: I made a “Thanksgiving” dinner this weekend complete with chicken breast, gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies, and dinner rolls. I know, chicken is not the traditional meat for this dinner but it is what I had in my freezer and honestly I couldn’t even tell a difference with all the other flavors. You can’t have a “Thanksgiving” dinner without a pumpkin flavored dessert so to finish off my culinary masterpiece I made a pumpkin roll. So. Good.
How I Am Feeling: So much better than last week. Stuffy nose, cough, and congestion is almost all cleared up! Hallelujah. I am just extra sleepy and only slightly queasy and have been trying to take at least an hour nap when Caden is napping. It is heavenly. As great as the naps are, the amount of pee coming out of my body is ridiculous right now. Last night I peed every two hours, I am not even sure how there was still pee left in me at 3am but there was. Oh the human body, you amaze me so much.
Sleeping: Night time sleep has been hit or miss. Our power went out the other night and our bedroom became hot and stuffy until it returned. We are also hoping to get a new mattress soon because ours has seen better days, so hopefully once we can find a mattress that fits our budget I will be able to get comfy again. We currently have a king but our considering buying a queen to save space in our bedroom. Do you sleep on a queen or king with your spouse?
Exercise: Ummm…sadly I have nothing superb to report, but that is changing today. Last week we attempted a family run but a mile in I got coughing so hard that it wasn’t worth it to keep going. This afternoon I am filming lots of workouts for my online bootcamp! I am super excited to get back to sweating and also filming. Yay!
Most Looking Forward To: I have a doctors appointment on Thursday and I am excited to hear the baby’s heartbeat again. Plus after the appointment I’m getting a massage! My OB has massage therapy, yoga, and acupuncture all available as part of her practice, which I love!
Thankful For: This new life growing inside of me, sweet baby Caden who I get to love on and take care of everyday, and a husband who loves and prays for us all.
