Homeschool

Here is a list of the curriculum I use and love for my kids. I will continue to add to this list as we discover new curriculum that we enjoy and have found useful.

Also enjoy this FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT FAMILY DEVOTION I put together. You can read more about how our family did devotions together when our kids were toddler and preschool age HERE.

Language Arts

McRuffy Press – I was so grateful when I found this curriculum. It is so good. Spelling, phonics, comprehension, reading, and handwriting is all incorporated into this program. I love that spelling words are also in the weekly reader and seen so many times throughout the week. If you are feeling lost like I was trying to teach kids how to read I highly recommend McRuffy Press.

Literature

Greek Myths – Memoria Press has great options for total curriculum packages or if you are just wanting additional curriculum for a single subject. D’Aulaires’ Greek Myths has been a hit with our 4th grader.

Math

Saxon Math – Great and easy to follow along and teach. Grades 1-3 are great for new homeschool parents as the books tell you exactly what to say. Super helpful.

History

The Story of the World – My kids love this curriculum and ask when we are doing history. There are many optional add on activities as well as coloring pages for each chapter and map work.

Bible

The Gospel Project – We have all memorized so much scripture from this program. We love the videos and discussion starters that go along with each weekly lessons.

Geography

Passport to America and Passport to the World – These two programs are from Master Books. My kids love getting to put stickers in their passports when we “visit” locations.

Latin

Prima Latina – Never did I ever think I would be navigating teaching a foreign language to my children but Memoria Press has made it so easy and enjoyable. Our 2nd and 4th grader are using the study guide with this program and our kindergartners are just enjoying the video lessons and reviewing during our group subject times.
