Being healthy is a gift! If you have never struggled with your health be grateful and if you have hopefully you will find some encouragement on this blog.

If you are brand new here I suggest reading more about my story in the following posts: The Girl Behind The BlogPart 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6. If you took the time to read all those, bless your heart! If you didn’t, to make a long story short, I was very sick for several years with a neurological disorder that left me paralyzed from the neck down when I was 23.

Since my illness I am grateful each day for what my body is capable of doing. Fast forward several years and I continue to push and challenge my body in ways I never would have dreamed of doing before my illness. In 2011 I completed my first half marathon with a time of 2:03:53, and my first Triathlon and came in 2nd in my age group.

I am also an alumni ambassador for lululemon athletica. I love the diversity all my certifications offer and how utilizing all my trainings allows me to create a very unique and well rounded program/workouts for my clients.

I have been married to my husband Josh for 11 years and we are the proud parents to 4 children. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! I hope you find encouragement on these pages but more importantly I hope you discover Jesus and see what a life can look like when it is transformed by God’s grace and goodness. God is good, all the time.
