This week I am sharing the lovely combination of carrots, apples, and ginger, oh my!
If you are newer to juicing or have little kids who don’t enjoy eating their fruits and/or veggies this juice is a good starter recipe. With all the amazing benefits and yummy taste this juice delivers it will surely be a hit in your household too! A bonus to this recipe is most stores sell organic carrots and apples in bulk. Yay for saving money!!!
Benefits:
- Carrots are known for beta carotene which gives the body vitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin E and many minerals. Juicing carrots is good for prenatal health, eyesight, bones and teeth, liver and nails, skin and hair as well as helping in cancer prevention.
- Apples contain antioxidants that help protect the good cholesterol levels in the blood.
- Ginger helps to reduce nausea, inflammation, and provides relief from heart burn.
Ingredients:
- 4-6 Carrots (organic)
- 2 Apples (organic)
- 1″ Ginger root
Directions:
Prep and clean produce. Juice. Pour over ice. Drink. Enjoy!
This recipe will produce two small servings (so you can share) or one large glass for you to enjoy all on your own :).
