Being healthy is a gift! If you have never struggled with your health be grateful and if you have hopefully you will find some encouragement on this blog.
If you are brand new here I suggest reading more about my story in the following posts: The Girl Behind The Blog, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6. If you took the time to read all those, bless your heart! If you didn’t, to make a long story short, I was very sick for several years with a neurological disorder that left me paralyzed from the neck down when I was 23.
Since my illness I am grateful each day for what my body is capable of doing. Fast forward several years and I continue to push and challenge my body in ways I never would have dreamed of doing before my illness. In 2011 I completed my first half marathon with a time of 2:03:53, and my first Triathlon and came in 2nd in my age group.
I am also an alumni ambassador for lululemon athletica. I love the diversity all my certifications offer and how utilizing all my trainings allows me to create a very unique and well rounded program/workouts for my clients.
I have been married to my husband Josh for 11 years and we are the proud parents to 4 children. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by! I hope you find encouragement on these pages but more importantly I hope you discover Jesus and see what a life can look like when it is transformed by God’s grace and goodness. God is good, all the time.
