Since I am on a cleanse right now and have ZERO motivation to do any type of exercise I thought this would be the perfect time to start sharing more workouts on my blog. I am still exercising, just not at a super high intensity, but everything seems so much harder and I am sweating buckets. Toxins be gone!
Words can not even describe to you how excited I was yesterday to eat actual food again! Green juice is awesome but I missed chewing my food. I will be doing a recap of my first 7 days on this cleanse Friday with a photo and measurement update. Stay tuned.
As my husband pointed out to me the other day, I have very few workouts posted on my blog. That is changing today! Get ready to walk up some hills and sweat. If we were going to the gym together today we would do this incline walking workout on the treadmill. This cardio workout is perfect if you are cleansing or needing a low impact option.
There are 3 phases plus a 5 minute warm up and 3 minute cool down. So really the main portion of the workout is only 22 minutes. If you need to adjust the speed you can but do so sparingly. Your badonkadonk and legs will be burning!
I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I like to print my workouts off and bring them with me to the gym. In case you are like me, I am including a printable version of this workout for you. Let me know if you like the option to print. If you do I will try to keep doing this for you all as much as my time allows.
PRINTABLE VERSION: 30 Minute Incline Walking Treadmill Workout
Happy Wednesday! What other workouts would you like to see?

PSS…Special thanks to my friend Shay (you probably know her as The Bachelor’s sister) for the shout out on her blog today.
Thank you for sharing this workout! I’ll be putting it to good use 🙂
You are welcome :).
Incline walking is my favorite type of cardio, I love how you broke it up into phases! Anytime I do an incline workout I also throw in some reverse walking on the incline. It burns my quads up in the best possible way!
Me too! I love walking backwards on the treadmill at high inclines. It is so hard and killer on the quads. I will be sharing my favorite way to incorporate those into a future workout.
Wow, that incline looks intense! stopping by from the linkup and I love how colorful your blog is!
Thanks girl for stopping by!
I would love some good HIIT workouts. I had a good one written down but my son tore up the paper and I can’t find it again!
Oh, and while this might sound like a contradiction I am looking for low impact workouts for me knees as I am having issues with one and squats and lunges really hurt, also, I would love workouts to strengthen the muscles that would help my knee. Additionally, I have hips out of alignment and subsequently lower back/hip pain. Workouts to strengthen back and hips would be awesome!!!
Thanks!!
I think I will give this a try. I love a good treadmill routine.
Love this workout! Sometimes I get intimidated by workouts posted on blogs, because they involve so many different (and confusing-to-me) exercises that I’m never sure if I’m going correctly (like a burpee). But this is so do-able, so thank you for keeping it real! 🙂 I would love to see a few suggestions for basic yoga poses (or other stretches) that target different areas of the body (like hips, lower back, etc).
And I found your blog through Shay’s site – love both your blogs!
This is your mama and I printed this out and will be using this next time I am at the gym. I’d love an elliptical workout also using a machine with levels 1-20. Oh my – I remember the times you had me walking backwards with inclines on the treadmill. You are always teaching me something new. Appreciate you sweet girl.
Love Mom
I have been on vaction with my two kids for the last 5 weeks so I haven’t been doing my regular workout routine. Into back Wednesday and today I needed to push myself out of bed and start moving. I did your workout this morning and enjoyed it. I was sweating tons and felt good when it was over! Thank your for sharing this workout I am looking forward to your next one.
Great blog, like the workout plan, looks a great one. Huge fan of juicing as well
