Why I Am Loving My Personalized VitaminPacks From Persona

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Moms Meet to use and post my honest opinions. Compensation for this post was provided and this page may contain affiliate links. I didn't even know personalized vitamin packs were a thing until this year. I saw an ad early in March and thought it was a really cool idea but didn't think much about it after that. To be honest I wasn't ready to spend a ton of money on vitamins. One of the amazing things about having a blog is getting the opportunity to review products and programs. In October, I jumped at the chance when approached with an opportunity to review Persona VitaminPacks. Persona is a personalized, high-quality supplement subscription service that delivers your packs to your doorstep every 28 days. To start using this service I was asked to take a 5 minute assessment on Persona and based on my answers my personalized VitaminPacks were created. You are asked to select three areas that you want to focus on in your … [Read more...]

Disclosure: I received this product for free from Moms Meet, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own. Being a new mom again has got me thinking about things I wish I would have known as a first time parent. With each one of my three babies I have lived in pajamas the first few weeks because it just felt more comfortable. It always amazes me that when I do take the extra few minutes to put on an actual outfit I feel so much better and my confidence drastically increases. Here are 5 style tips for the postpartum mom to help you feel great, stress less, and enjoy that new baby. Don't stress about your body. You just brought a new life into this world. Be gracious with yourself and remember that it took 9 months to grow that little bundle of joy. It is normal to not fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes. These days comfortable … [Read more...]

#MakeYourMove at Home with Kohl’s

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Kohl's. I was paid for this post and received the included fitness equipment as compensation. A little over 8 months ago our family joined a gym after having not had a membership for 2 years. Josh and I loved being able exercise together again and it was great to have childcare for the kids when Josh was on shift so I could workout. Fast forward to today and I am cleared to start exercising again after delivering our third baby in November. Adding a new member to our family has been amazing and exhausting. Exercise is a great way to boost your energy, improve your outlook, and reduce stress, all things that are great for everyone and especially parents of a newborn. The childcare at our gym starts for babies when they are 3 months old. The idea of taking three kids to the gym when Josh is on shift is a little overwhelming. There were some mornings when it was hard for me to manage Caden and Maisie on my own and getting them in and out … [Read more...]

Backyard Campout + $50 Kohl’s Gift Card Giveaway

Disclosure: This post is sponsored. While I was not paid to write this post I did receive product from Kohl's.  The giveaway has closed. Thanks to all who entered. I know many families who camp with little kids. Some as young as three weeks old. I applaud you parents out there who are so adventurous and have this camping thing down. Josh and I on the other hand do NOT have this down yet. We decided to play our first family "campout" safe and pitched our tent in the backyard. This tent is not like any tent I remember from my camping and backpacking experience. It set up quickly and features a built-in closet with shelves and hanger bar to organize gear and clothes. It easily fit a queen size air mattress plus the two sleeping bags for the kids. The kids favorite was the air mattress. And it wasn't because it was super comfortable but because they treated it like their own personal trampoline. Josh and I didn't have a problem with them jumping on it all … [Read more...]

Day In The Life + Garmin vívofit 2 Review

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Garmin through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about vívofit 2, all opinions are my own. I thought it would be fun to do a day in the life post. I have never done one before and I always love reading them. With Caden in preschool two days a week, workouts, bible study, swim lessons, MOPS, church, and various other activities that we participate in our family is always on the go. Even though we are out and about these activities involve lots of sitting. Sitting in the car driving, sitting at bible study, anyway you get the picture. At the end of day I can feel tired not so much from the amount of movement but just from the volume of activity. Exercise in a modern context can actual create disease. Today, the average office worker sits for about 10 hours, first all those hours in front of the computer, plowing through e-mails, making calls or writing proposals — and eating lunch. And then all … [Read more...]

Train Like A Boss Workout

Disclosure: I have received this product in exchange for highlighting this business. All opinions are my own. Who doesn't love a nice sweaty interval workout? I know I do. But here is the problem that I have always run into. Timing my intervals. I have tried using a stopwatch, my heart rate monitor, and numerous apps on my iPhone which work, but still leave me continuously having to glance down at the screen. This gets annoying. Today I am happy to announce that I have discovered a solution to my problem. Meet the GYMBOSS. How adorable is she! This little beauty is my new favorite workout buddy. She is small, super easy to setup, and can be used as a interval timer, stopwatch, countdown timer, or a clock. There are numerous types of workouts that this little timer is great for including running, CrossFit, HITT,  and weightlifting. My favorite feature is that it can be clipped on to my waistband and the alarm can be set to either beep or vibrate at me. I love knowing that I will … [Read more...]
